Welcome to First Aylmer Scouts!

Scouting is a world of simple pleasures, fun, exercise and stories shared around a campfire.  We offer children and youth a world of wonder and learning from all the outdoors can teach us.  With us kids get to be kids, have time to play and find that life is never, ever boring.

Boys and Girls  ages 5 – 17 are welcome in our programs.  Each level focuses on age appropriate activities and progressions lead by experienced, trained and energetic volunteer Leaders.

Programs Start:  Registration is on the registration page (Click to access)

All programs run for 1 ½ hours per week unless otherwise announced or on special events.

Beavers – ages 5 – 7

Fun and friendship is the cornerstone of the Beaver program.  Beavers enjoy nature walks, short hikes, games, crafts and family sleepovers.

Beaver Motto:  Sharing, Sharing, Sharing

Cubs – ages 8 – 10

The Cub program is built around a lively variety of games, crafts, storytelling, spiritual fellowship and the outdoors.  The Cub badge program focuses around 6 activity areas: The Natural World, Outdoors, Creative Expression, Healthy Living, Home and Community, and Canada and the World.

Cub Motto: Do Your Best

Scouts – ages 11 – 14

The Scout program emphasizes fun while encouraging youth to feel good about themselves, their friends and family, and the environment.  Through the Scouting program, youth expand their leadership skills and gain self-confidence.  The program focuses on using the outdoors to enhance the experience.

Scout Motto:  Be Prepared

Venturers – ages 14 – 17

The outdoors is an essential part of the Venturer program.  Weekend events, extended hikes, no trace camping and more opportunities round out the Venturer experience.  Developing an active, healthy lifestyle is the primary goal.  As well, Venturing helps teens acquire new knowledge and skills that can lead to a satisfying career.

Venture Motto:  Challenge
